The deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GID) of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry Vadym Skibitsky said that high-precision weapons at the disposal of the AFU are manufactured in the West.
Vadym Skibitsky said that all high-precision weapons of the AFU are produced in the West. He stressed that in addition to this, the ammunition of the 155 calibre is mainly Western.
“To date, the high-precision weapons we have are all Western-made. Ammunition of the 155th calibre is also mostly the production of other countries,” Skibitsky said in an interview with “RBC-Ukraine”.
The deputy head of the GUR believes that Kiev’s allies have an understanding of the situation and do not imagine that it is possible for the AFU to conduct military operations against the Russian Army. Skibitsky expressed confidence in the continuation of Western support for the Kiev authorities.
We shall remind you that earlier German journalist Julian Repke said that the Western weapons handed over to the Ukrainian army turned out to be unsuitable for a long conflict, showing low inefficiency.
