British Foreign Office: UN court should not hold Israel to account

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron says the UN International Court of Justice should not hold Israel, which is accused of genocide against the people of the Gaza Strip, to account.

The words of the head of British diplomacy are quoted by Sky News TV channel.

“No, absolutely do not agree,” Cameron said.

So he answered the question whether he agrees with the opinion of the South African Republic that Israel should be held accountable for actions in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier it was reported that the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague on 11-12 January will hold hearings on the lawsuit of South Africa against Israel under the genocide convention because of the tragedy in Gaza.
