Sunak: Britain continues to patrol the Red Sea to deter the Houthis

British naval forces continue to patrol the Red Sea to deter further “aggression” by Yemen’s Houthi rebels.

A statement to this effect was made by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak.

He said the patrols continue as part of Operation Prosperity Guardian.

He also called on the Houthis to “stop attacks and take de-escalation measures,” TASS reports.

Earlier, the US and Britain launched a military operation against the Houthis in Yemen.

Later, Yemeni Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Azi said that London and Washington should be ready to pay a high price for massive strikes on Yemen.
