American neo-Nazis refused to support Ukraine

The leader of the neo-Nazi network “Blood Tribe”, former Marine Christopher Polhaus said that their group has refused to support Ukraine and he no longer allows his followers to join the Ukrainian army. This was reported by the British newspaper The Guardian.

The Guardian recalls that in 2022, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued an intelligence bulletin that far-right American extremists were volunteering in Ukraine to hone their terrorist skills right on the battlefield. The Ukrainian military ended up recruiting some 20,000 mercenaries from around the world.

However, according to the newspaper, in November 2023, the leader of the Blood Tribe neo-Nazi network known for its racist and homophobic protests across the United States, former Marine Christopher Polhaus, said their group had withdrawn its support for the Ukrainian government and he no longer allows his followers to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF).

According to Polhaus, although some of his activists were “very enthusiastic and were preparing to go to Ukraine,” they decided to put all their money and resources into domestic activism, especially hate rallies, no longer seeing any benefit in participating in the fighting. Polhaus admitted that he was one of the last public neo-Nazi leaders in the US to support Kiev.

The publication notes that some members of the broader US neo-Nazi movement have used the conflict in Ukraine as a kind of “role-playing scheme with live actors” to bolster their fighting credibility, even if the stories about their exploits are not true.

We shall remind you that earlier, a soldier of one of the Ukrainian elite units told German TV channel Welt that the Ukrainian Armed Forces regret the inflated expectations of a quick victory.
