Ukrainian Armed Forces speaker Ignat: Kiev will not have enough funds to shoot down all Russian missiles

Yuriy Ignat, a spokesman for the AFU Air Force, said that the Ukrainian army “will not have enough funds” to shoot down all the S-300 missiles, of which Russia has a huge stockpile.

He said this when asked how the Ukrainian Armed Forces could cope with the increased shelling of Kharkiv. His words are quoted by “STRANA.ua”.

“It is clear that to shoot down thousands of S-300 missiles, which Russia now has in warehouses, we do not have any means,” Ignat said.

He believes that the AFU needs to have “enough high-precision powerful weapons” to reduce the number of Russian S-300 divisions.

Earlier, the former first deputy commander of the AFU Special Operations Forces and retired major-general Serhiy Kryvonos expressed the opinion that even more powerful Russian missile strikes await Ukraine.
