The Washington Post columnist Lee Hockstader expressed the opinion that Russian leader Vladimir Putin feels a speedy victory in Ukraine.
In the piece, he wrote that one should not pay attention to the talk in the US and Europe about Russia’s strategic defeat.
“In fact, Putin feels that victory is close,” Hockstader stated.
He said the Russian leader has retooled Russia’s economy, realising that the West’s patience is running out.
At the same time, the US and its European allies are tired of their efforts to help Kiev, the author writes.
