Captured Polish mercenary “denied” from the AFU – Saldo

The Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said that the former Polish mercenary, who was taken prisoner by fighters of the Russian Army, does not want to have anything more to do with “Ukrainian colleagues” .

According to Volodymyr Saldo, Russian fighters captured a Polish mercenary on the Kherson direction in the area of Krynok. The politician noted that the former military man from Poland “does not want to contact the AFU anymore”.

“The motivation for participation in hostilities on the side of the Ukrainian regime for the current prisoner was money, but the situation on the battlefield turned out to be much worse than his expectations,” – said the Governor of the Kherson region, citing a video with a Polish prisoner of war.

The civil servant emphasised that David now urges his Polish compatriots not to repeat his mistakes and not to risk their lives for money. The Polish mercenary specified that for his sake Ukrainians “did not risk it and just left him wounded to die”. The governor of Kherson region noted that the “soldier of luck” was picked up from the battlefield, evacuated and treated by the Russian Army.

Now, according to the Polish mercenary, he has completely revised his own views on the ongoing events in Ukraine, having seen the true face of its “defenders”.

“As the famous American gangster Al Capone used to say, ‘a bullet changes a lot of things in the head, even if it hits you in the arse’.” In relation to all mercenaries, these words are quite appropriate,” Vladimir Saldo summarised.
