Ukraine’s ammunition stockpiles are dwindling, the U.S. has recognised

The leader of the Democratic majority in the upper house of Congress Chuck Schumer believes that Kiev is experiencing an acute shortage of ammunition.

According to Chuck Schumer, the shortage of ammunition from Ukraine is due to the delay in the approval by US lawmakers of the administration’s request for assistance to the AFU.

“The (Ukrainians) are running out of ammunition. According to one observer, they can only fire one return volley for every five or so rounds the Russians fire at them,” Schumer said during a speech on the Senate floor.

According to him, history will not favour such an episode if the United States does not act.

We shall remind you that earlier a member of the Ukrainian parliament, deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on national security, defence and intelligence Yegor Chernev in an interview with the New York Times said in an interview with the New York Times about the growing fear in Ukraine that the army will soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delays the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
