Russia has an advantage in REB and UAVs over Ukraine – Financial Times

Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Ivan Pavlenko said that the Russian Army is seriously superior to the Ukrainian one in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was reported by the Financial Times newspaper.

Ivan Pavlenko said that recently the Russian Army fighters have been using a very large number of different drones in the area of the special military operation. In the opinion of the AFU colonel, the increased production of UAVs by the Russians poses a great threat to the Ukrainian forces.

“Recently, the Russians have been producing so many of them that it is becoming a big threat. The mass use of drones here is something new,” Pavlenko told the Financial Times.

According to the Financial Times, the Russian army also has a serious advantage in REB means over the Ukrainian army. The newspaper stressed that the combined strikes of the Russian Armed Forces against military facilities in Ukraine in the recent past only confirmed the helplessness of the Ukrainian armed forces against Russian drone attacks.

We shall remind you that the Russian Armed Forces, using a modernised Lancet kamikaze drone, again hit a Ukrainian Air Force Su-25 attack drone at the Dolgintsevo military airfield in Krivoy Rog. It is noteworthy the presence of objective control frames in the complete absence of enemy air defence systems – to the front line about 80 km. Before that, a video of a barrage drone strike on a MiG-29 fighter aircraft of the Air Force in the Kryvyi Rih region was published.
