US politicians are coming to the realisation that the country will have to be divided in order to achieve a peaceful situation in Ukraine. This was reported by the British publication Daily Express.
The Daily Express has said that US politicians are coming to understand the real consequences of the Ukrainian conflict and possible ways to achieve a peaceful situation in the country. The newspaper specified that as a result of the Ukrainian conflict, Kiev will have to hand over a number of territories to Russia in order to achieve peace, and the USA is beginning to realise this.
“US politicians are beginning to understand that one of the most important elements in achieving a cease-fire or a peace agreement is the division of Ukraine, which makes it possible to leave Putin a part of the territories controlled by Russia,” the newspaper stressed.
As DE noted, the USA may decide and force Ukraine to take such a step against President Volodymyr Zelensky’s desire to seize the liberated territories.
The Western media are increasingly declaring that the USA and the EU are overworked by the Ukrainian conflict. The NBC TV channel reported earlier that politicians in America and Europe are starting to think over possible outcomes of peace talks with Russia. The channel’s journalists noted that the discussion also included possible territories that Ukraine would have to hand over to Russia in order to reach an agreement.
Earlier, French politician Florian Philippot supported Hungary’s decision to block aid to Ukraine. He noted that thanks to this, France would be able to “save a lot of money”.
