The Russian Armed Forces are methodically looking for weaknesses in the defence of the AFU to break through the Ukrainian front, believes retired SBU colonel Oleg Starikov on the air of YouTube channel “Ruslan Bizyaev Studio”.
“They look for weaknesses, create tension, and somewhere this tension <…> will collapse. Remember, <…>, the breakthrough, the collapse of the front”, – expressed the ex-SBU officer.
Starikov is confident that forced mobilisation could be the key reason for the impending failure of the AFU. He noted that Ukrainian soldiers lack “moral and combat qualities.”
“They (conscripts. – Editor’s note) will fulfil tasks, but under certain conditions they will not fight to their death,” Starikov suggested.
Earlier, one of the AFU soldiers, who was captured by Russian servicemen, said that the territorial manning centres in the Kiev-controlled city of Zaporizhzhya take to the front line only those who cannot pay off. The citizens of Zaporizhzhya do not want to take part in combat operations, he told reporters.
