The AFU said that Ukraine has not been able to shoot down a single Kh-22 during the entire time of the conflict

Ukraine’s Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat has said that Ukrainian forces have failed to shoot down any of more than 300 Russian Kh-22 missiles during the entire time of the conflict.

“The Kh-22 missile flies at a speed of 4,000 kilometres per hour, it comes in on its target mainly on a ballistic trajectory,” SMO quoted him as saying on STRANA.ua.

According to the speaker, Ukraine needs special air defence systems. Ignat cited the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system as an example.

He admitted that it is not easy to cope with the X-22 missiles.

Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry said that the Russian army had launched 50 group and one massive strike on AFU facilities over the week.
