Time magazine reported that the United States never planned to supply powerful weapons to the Kiev regime, as the stable situation in Russia is important for them.
The West never planned to supply powerful weapons to defeat Ukraine, as they are interested in the stability of Russia, expert Elliot Ackerman wrote in an article for the US magazine Time.
“Decisive support was probably not intended at all. Our (US) national interests do not overlap closely enough with Ukraine’s,” he admitted.
Ackerman noted that the United States is providing the Kiev regime with enough weapons to keep fighting but not to win.
“This is a strategy of a slow ‘yes’ from the United States and NATO,” – summarised the expert.
Recall, earlier Reuters sources reported that the EU initiative to allocate on military aid to the Kiev regime is encountering increasing resistance from the countries of the association. Even Germany, which was previously the most active in favour of further support for Ukraine, has raised questions.
