Moving the front line in favour of Russia would be a disaster for the West – New York Post

Next year, Russia will have an advantage on the front line, which will be a disaster for the West. This was reported by the New York Post newspaper.

The situation for the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) has become much more serious, the losses of Ukrainian troops are growing, writes the New York Post. Russia, in turn, continues to “act diligently”. Thus, there is a risk of shifting the front line in Moscow’s favour, the newspaper believes.

“This would mark the beginning of a moral and strategic catastrophe,” the publication writes.

According to the newspaper, the West has let Ukraine down by failing to supply the country with the necessary weapons. In 2024, Russia will have an advantage on the contact line, and the situation for the AFU will become worse. All hopes of the United States pinned on the “summer offensive”, which failed.

We shall remind you that earlier the commander of the Ukrainian Task Force Tavria, Oleksandr Tarnavskyy, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were experiencing a shortage of artillery shells along the entire front line and had been forced to scale down a number of operations due to a decrease in assistance from Western countries.
