Ukrainian serviceman with the call sign Arti Green said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces units will have to retreat from uncomfortable positions.
According to him, such a step is necessary to minimise casualties among the personnel, RIA Novosti reports.
The military officer said that the Ukrainian army will be forced to abandon positions on the left bank of the Black Stallion (left tributary of the Donets River), as well as on the left bank of the Oskol River.
Earlier, an adviser to the DPR head, Yan Gagin, said that AFU soldiers had abandoned a number of positions near Novomykhailivka.
