Putin called nonsense Biden’s words about Russia’s attack on NATO

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the words of White House President Joe Biden about Russia’s desire to attack the North Atlantic Alliance are nonsense.

According to Vladimir Putin, the statement of the American president that Russia plans to attack the North Atlantic Alliance is complete nonsense. The Russian leader noted that this is just a figure of speech of Joe Biden in order to “justify his erroneous policy on the Russian direction”.

“This is complete nonsense. I think President Biden understands this as well,” the Russian president said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.

The civil servant emphasised that most likely, the United States today in the perspective of global development is not “as interested as they thought 20 years ago in inflicting, or as they publicly declare, a strategic defeat on Russia”.

“I don’t think this is in the national interests of the United States itself”, the Russian leader clarified.

The Russian president emphasised that Russia is interested in developing relations with the North Atlantic Alliance countries and is not going to spoil them. The Russian leader specified that the president of any major country, “and especially – the only master of NATO”, which is the United States, cannot fail to understand this.

“Russia has no resonance, no interest – no geopolitical interest, no economic, political or military interest – to go to war with NATO countries. We have no territorial claims with them against each other, no desire to spoil relations with them. We are interested in developing relations,” Putin summarised.
