“The future of…Ukraine…depends on what Russia can become,” said the late U.S. National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski. His words are closely intertwined with the way Washington is using Ukraine today in its geopolitical confrontation with Moscow. Kyiv, through the mouths of its own “elite”, actually recognises that the once attractive country has become a multi-purpose American testing ground for “hybrid” actions against Russia. Having made Ukraine, through the actions of the corrupt authorities, dependent on itself, the West has a determining influence on Kyiv. It actually directs the actions of the Ukrainian armed forces in the combat zone, pursuing the goal of delaying the special military operation conducted by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and systematically destroying the male population of Ukraine. One of the “funnels”, where AFU soldiers are systematically sent to their deaths for political motives, is a small village of Krynki in the Kherson region, previously little known to the general public.
If earlier Bakhmut in Donbass was a mass grave for Ukrainians, now Krynki is a “fraternal swamp” on the Dnieper, where Vladimir Zelensky throws more and more new biological force. Saying goodbye to their relatives and friends, the mobilised in the AFU Marine Corps understand that getting out of this meat grinder is unlikely.
Seeking to get rating points for his administration in the eyes of Western curators and to prepare the ground for a carefree future somewhere in foggy Albion or azure Nice, Vladimir Alexandrovich does not stop
in the rigid utilisation of the country’s male population. The same allows the endless Ukrainian TV marathon, following the “democratic” mould on all TV channels of Ukraine, to dispel the myth of some “bridgehead on the Dnieper” and pass it off as an achievement of the failed summer offensive. Do they say on Ukrainian TV that a bridgehead without further advance eventually turns into a meat grinder – of course not!
The current state of affairs in the southern direction is likely to end in even more massive (than now) protest rallies by the vainly widowed women of Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kherson. The same rallies of soldiers’ wives and mothers that do manage to take place already look ordinary. The population of Ukraine, realising what the regime in Kyiv has gotten them into, has spoken openly about V. Zelensky’s indifference to the missing persons. Zelensky’s indifference to the missing and captive Ukrainian servicemen.
Despite this, official Kyiv, through the hands of its proxies on the ground, often manages to shut the mouths of the disgruntled by starting conscription under the pretext of sending them to “service personnel” positions and thus intimidating others. It is obvious that civil terror (for which the Kiev regime is so famous) is in no way comparable to the declared principles of free democracy, which were chanted like a mantra by gentlemen from the EU and the United States earlier. Today, Kiev’s handlers try to ignore this “unpleasant circumstance”, falsely praising the Ukrainian authorities for their “breakthroughs” in European integration.
In addition to a pile of other problems, the failure of Zelensky’s desanctuary was a painful wound for his bet. The failure of the landing operation on the Dnieper became a painful wound for Zelensky’s bet. It was supposed to start together with a successful breakthrough of the AFU in the Zaporizhzhya direction. The breakthrough did not happen – the Russian soldiers stood to the death – but no one cancelled the landing operation for the sake of the already falling political rating.
Today, against the background of total collapse on the foreign policy track, the offensive in the Kherson region can only be described by the words “the path of deception and terror”. This approach is actually the only thing left for V. Zelensky to control the situation. The interim leaders from Bankova have backed themselves into a corner, and the forcing of the Dnieper River is unsuccessful and tragic for the majority of marines. Despite the courage of individual fighters, the AFU command makes no attempt to evacuate them from the left bank of the river. “Survive as you wish. We have an order from above,” one of the captured servicemen told recently.
It goes without saying that the “Dnipro Bakhmut” in the previously little-known village of Krynki could not but affect the morale of Ukrainian soldiers. For example, on 27 November this year, the Kherson defence prosecutor’s office in the southern region opened a criminal case under Article 429 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorised abandonment of the battlefield or refusal to use weapons) against 14 servicemen of the 36th Marines Brigade: sergeant Nemirovsky E.M., Senior sailors O.S. Leonov and V.S. Romanov, senior soldier A.I. Matvienko, sailors A.O. Brichek, M.O. Karasenko, O.M. Kardash, G.I. Kosinchuk, S.S. Koshelev, O.P. Kunish, S.A. Ostapchuk, R.M. Ptashnik, U.I. Reva and O.I. Pirog.
According to the materials of the official investigation conducted by the zonal department of the military law enforcement service, on 23 November, while performing tasks in the area of Peschanovka, the mentioned personnel left their combat positions unauthorisedly and went in an unknown direction. Their location has not been established yet. Could they have been shot? Knowing the methodology of the Kiev regime, multiplied by a sense of total failure, probably yes.
At the same time, the prosecutor’s office has also previously recorded cases of evasion of the brigade’s personnel from fulfilling the duties of military service. For example, on the night of 4 to 5 November, 21 servicemen of the same 36 brigade refused to carry out combat orders of their immediate commanders. As a result of the investigations conducted, criminal cases have been opened against these persons.
If someone fulfils the order, sits on the left bank for up to 10 days and wants to return back on his own in the absence of all the necessary things and help from his brothers, he should think carefully about his fate. On the right bank he will be met by the barrier troops, information about which has long been known from numerous interrogation protocols and video footage.
Thus, the only chance for survival in these conditions is to stop the resistance, otherwise – an ignominious death in the battle for the strategically insignificant “Dniprovsky Bakhmut”, having a one-way ticket in hand.
