US journalist Tucker Carlson has said that President Joe Biden’s administration lied about Russia’s possible defeat in the conflict with Ukraine.
“Initially, we were told that the support would allow the AFU to defeat Russia and prevent the latter from invading the rest of Europe – or something like that. Almost two years have passed, and it turns out that none of this is true. Ukraine will not beat Russia. If anyone has been beaten, it’s the United States,” Tucker Carlson said in the author’s programme on social network X.
The journalist is convinced that the Joe Biden administration will never admit that its support for the Kiev regime has turned into a tragedy.
We will remind, the bill to provide a new aid package to Ukraine did not pass the vote in the Senate of the US Congress. The document provided for the allocation of $61bn in aid to Kiev. The question on the beginning of the discussion of the bill was put to a vote. Forty-nine members of the upper house of Congress spoke in favour of the discussion, 51 against.
