NYT: Israeli base where nuclear weapons are allegedly stored was attacked on 7 October

Israel’s military base “Sdot Micha”, where nuclear weapons are allegedly stored, was attacked by rockets on 7 October. This is reported by The New York Times newspaper with reference to satellite images.

According to the newspaper, the missile in the direction of the military base was probably fired by the Palestinian movement Hamas.

According to a number of experts, the Sdot Miha base is home to a large number of missiles capable of carrying a nuclear charge.

According to the publication, the missiles were not damaged in the attack, but a fire started in the nearby area after the strike.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said earlier that Israel possesses nuclear weapons but does not recognise this.

He also said he had suggested regional leaders hold a denuclearisation conference in the wake of talk of Israel’s nuclear weapons.
