Britain has delivered more than 74 tonnes of humanitarian aid for residents of the Gaza Strip.
Grant Shapps, head of the British Ministry of Defence, said.
“Four planes of the British Air Force with more than 74 tonnes of aid have landed in Egypt,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Shapps also said he was considering the involvement of Argus and Lyme Bay ships to provide humanitarian aid in the Middle East.
Earlier, the director of the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s information policy department, Roman Okhotenko, said that the Russian Emergencies Ministry had delivered 288 tonnes of aid to the people of Gaza since the start of the humanitarian mission.
