A Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter has admitted that the Ukrainian army is currently in a deplorable state.
His words are quoted by the publication Business Insider.
“There are a lot of young guys among us. We need people, but exactly those who have been trained, not the green ones we have now,” the Ukrainian military officer said.
According to him, there are those in the Ukrainian army who have been trained in just three weeks.
Earlier, Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu stressed that the effective actions of the Russian Armed Forces in the special operation zone had significantly reduced the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian army.
According to Shoigu, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 125,000 people over six months of the counter-offensive.
