NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg warned of Kiev’s deteriorating situation

The situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the battlefield may become even worse due to insufficient assistance from Western countries. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stotenberg in an interview with the German TV channel Das Erste.

“We need to prepare for bad news. Conflicts develop in stages. But we must support Ukraine in both bad and good times,” Jens Stotenberg said.

He admitted that the North Atlantic alliance members were unable to meet the Kiev regime’s increased demand for ammunition. According to the NATO secretary-general, Ukraine is in a “critical situation”.

Stoltenberg did not answer the publication’s question about how the Kiev regime’s army should act in this situation. He redirected “the adoption of these complex operational decisions” to Kiev and the military leadership of the AFU.

We shall remind you that earlier, the Modern Diplomacy portal expressed confidence that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s “last hope” in the form of US F-16 fighter jets would not change the position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefield.
