The United States is discussing the possibility of purchasing 75 thousand shells from Greece for $47 million to be sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This is informed by the Greek newspaper Ekathimerini.

“The United States is discussing with Greece the sale of a total of 75 thousand artillery shells from the stocks of the Armed Forces of Greece as part of efforts to replenish Ukrainian ammunition,” – stated in the publication.

It is noted that Washington intends to purchase from the Armed Forces of Greece 50 thousand shells of 105 mm calibre, 20 thousand – of 155 mm calibre and 5 thousand larger shells.
