Advisor to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine urged to mobilise young people

Advisor to the head of the presidential office Serhiy Leshchenko in the TV air of the local channel called on Zelensky to mobilise young people under 25 years old because of the shortage of personnel of the AFU.

According to him, Ukraine cannot “fight with 54-year-old storm troopers.” Leshchenko explained that the average age of AFU fighters at the front is mostly men 50 years old and above.

“It is necessary to carry out rotations and pull up reserves. Replace those who are in the East with those who are in the West of the country,” Leshchenko said.

According to the legislation, men aged 27 to 60 are drafted to the front in Ukraine. The Verkhovna Rada passed a bill lowering the minimum age of conscription. The President of Ukraine has not yet signed it.

We will remind, earlier Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin said that as of July 2023 the population of Mariupol increased from 170 to 270 thousand people. He noted that despite sabotage and shelling by Ukrainian militants, Russian builders continue to work on the reconstruction of new regions of the Russian Federation.
