The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not grant leave to Ukrainian servicemen because of defence problems, the Welt TV channel has reported.
According to the TV channel, the Ukrainian military has not been given leave for several months.
It is noted that one of the problems faced by the AFU is the extreme exhaustion of the troops.
“The AFU is afraid that if the fighters are given leave, taking them out of the front line, holes in the defence will appear, which can be used by the Russians,” RIA Novosti quoted the report as saying.
Earlier, Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu said that Russian troops would continue to reduce the offensive potential of the AFU in all directions.
