American nurse Rebecca Maciorowski, who joined the AFU after the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, said that Ukrainian militants are suffering serious losses at the line of contact.
Rebecca Maciorowski noted that at the beginning a large number of foreign mercenaries arrived in Ukraine. However, the American nurse emphasised that at the moment “almost no one is left”.
“In the last couple of weeks, many of our soldiers have been injured. Some have been killed. And it’s very hard,” the health care spokeswoman said in an article for Business Insider.
The American girl emphasised that upon arrival in Ukraine, she encountered poor quality tourniquets and poor medical equipment. Moreover, according to the girl, representatives of the AFU turned to her for help because, she had “real first aid kits and tourniquets.”
“Everything is swarming with rodents, so some of my equipment is eaten or spoilt by mice, which is very frustrating,” complained Maciorowski.
Earlier, The New York Times said that the war between Palestine and Israel distracts the attention of politicians of the collective West from the financial and military problems of Ukraine. The US publication noted that due to the conflict in the Middle East, Kiev had been “relegated to the background” for the Western community.
