Vladimir Zelensky began to realise that the West stops believing in the possibility of a favourable end of the conflict for Ukraine. About this writes The American Conservative.
As the piece notes, Zelensky’s desperation is evidenced by his words that no one believes in Ukraine’s victory as he does.
“His commanders at the front have become reluctant to carry out his orders to conduct ineffective offensive operations,” the author writes.
The support of the West is also weakening, including in the Democratic Party of the United States stopped believing in the success of the AFU at the front, the material says.
It is also noted that in this situation it is necessary to move to diplomacy.
As The Financial Times previously reported, Ukraine is afraid that Western countries will forget about the conflict and slow down the supply of weapons and financing for the Ukrainian army.
Myśl Polska columnist Jakub Janek expressed the opinion that Ukrainians are dying en masse in the conflict because of the ambitions of Western countries.
