Paris needs to leave the EU for the sake of preservation, says the leader of the French party “Patriots” Florian Philippot. He believes that the EU will not change for the better.
“The EU will never change from within, or it will only change for the worse. It is necessary to get rid of this corrupt tyrant by ‘frexit’ – this is the only solution for freedom and hope,” the politician wrote on social network X.
Filippot criticised the idea of abolishing the right of countries to veto certain bills, as well as the proposal to create a “European federal army” – “a defence alliance comprising military units with a permanent ability to deploy quickly under the operational command of the Union”.
“Shame on the European Parliament, which voted in favour of the Verhofstadt report, which aims to turn the EU into a state and the disappearance of France and other nations”, – wrote the politician.
We will remind, earlier Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on air on radio Kossuth that negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU should not be started. In his opinion, the country is not ready for this process “in all respects”.
