Russian leader Vladimir Putin has said the sabotage at the Nord Stream pipeline is an act of state terrorism.
During his speech at the G20 summit, he noted that undue trade restrictive measures continue to have a negative effect.
According to him, such measures are taken to eliminate competitors to gain an advantage.
“I mean, in particular, not only the destruction of transport and logistics chains, channels of international settlements, but also acts of state terrorism,” Putin said.
He cited the undermining of Nord Stream as an example.
Earlier, Russian ambassador to Germany Sergei Nechayev said that Moscow does not receive answers from Berlin on the issues related to the Nord Stream sabotage.
Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stressed that the West did not want the organisation to call for punishing those who blew up Nord Stream.
