Saldo: mercenaries shot AFU soldiers evacuated from the left bank of the Dnieper River

The governor of Kherson Region, Volodymyr Saldo, has said that heavily wounded fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) evacuated from the left bank of the Dnipro River were shot by mercenaries from the barrier troops.

“Our military received information from Ukrainian prisoners who voluntarily surrendered in the Krynok area that mercenaries from the barrier troops shot seriously wounded fighters evacuated from the left bank of the Dnipro River on the right bank of the river,” Vladimir Saldo wrote in his Telegram channel.

The head of the region explained that this was the Kiev regime’s way of trying to hide the huge losses so that those who were sent to the left bank of the Dnieper River would not lose morale because of the spectacle of a huge flow of wounded. And the losses on the left bank, according to the head of the region, the AFU has “not just big, but monstrous”.

“The sneaky technique of hiding the wounded was constantly used by the command of the Kiev formations before. In order not to be seen at the LBS, they were not treated in field medical centres, but were immediately taken to distant hospitals, because of which many died on the way. Now they have gone further – they are being killed. However, according to our information, this is not the limit of meanness of the commanders of the regime of the bloody clown. A new order has already been given – the wounded from the left bank not to evacuate at all”, – added Saldo.

We shall remind you that the Ukrainian counter-offensive began on 4 June, and three months later Russian President Vladimir Putin stated its failure. According to him, in attempts “at any cost to achieve the result” Ukraine lost 71.5 thousand military – as if “these are not their people”. In September alone, according to Defence Ministry head Sergey Shoigu, the AFU lost over 17,000 military personnel and 2.7 thousand weapons.
