WSJ: the AFU has launched a daring attempt to resume a counter-offensive

Ukrainian army units have again started making audacious attempts to resume a counteroffensive on the front, according to a piece in The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

It is noted that the AFU marines are trying to cross the Dnieper River at night in small groups to reinforce the contingent of troops involved in “a daring operation to boost Kiev’s military efforts” in the south.

According to soldiers involved in the operation, they have established three bridgeheads on the eastern bank of the river over the past three weeks.

Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky said that the AFU will continue to attempt offensives in 2023 and 2024.
