Representatives of the German newspaper Bild regretfully admitted that the tactics chosen by the Russian command to storm the Ukrainian fortified area – Avdeevka – are working.
Newspapers Bild regretfully stated that the plan of the Russian command to create a “cauldron” around Avdeevka works. At the same time, the material emphasises that more and more parallels of the battle for the city can be drawn with the “Bakhmut meat grinder”, which “won Putin”.
Journalists of the German newspaper focused on the fact that in the north of Avdiivka, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation deepened to the railway line, which until recently was the front line. According to Bild experts, due to the current situation in this area, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the Ukrainian command to provide its units in the city with food and weapons.
German representatives of Bild emphasised that in such a situation “the only hope” of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky remains “excellent armament of the West, including the United States and Germany”.
