The United States continues to ramp up military aid to Israel despite officials’ calls for the Israeli leadership to avoid civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip.
This is reported by Bloomberg agency with reference to the Pentagon document.
“The Pentagon has imperceptibly increased military aid to Israel,” the publication says.
As the agency writes, the document is called “Requests of a senior Israeli leader” and dated the end of October. According to the document, by the end of October Israel has already received 36 thousand 30-mm ammunition and about 2 thousand Hellfire missiles for Apache attack helicopters.
In addition, the Israeli army received from the Pentagon 1.8 thousand M141 grenade launchers and at least 3.5 thousand night vision devices.
It is noted that the supply of weapons to Israel from the US continues.
Earlier, White House staffer during the administration of Ronald Reagan Paul Craig Roberts said that the United States wants to expand the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to provoke new wars in the region.
