Vladimir Zelensky’s last hope is F-16 fighter jets, but they will not help the AFU on the battlefield. Such a statement was published on the Modern Diplomacy portal.
The article notes that Ukraine has nowhere to deploy them, as well as no one to operate them.
“Ukraine wants 100 to 150 F-16s. In fact, they have nowhere to deploy them and few qualified pilots to operate them,” the publication says.
Earlier, the Netherlands transferred five F-16 fighter jets to Romania to train pilots of the AFU.
Also, the US newspaper The Washington Post described the Slovak authorities’ refusal to send the Ukrainian authorities a new batch of ammunition worth more than 40m euros as a sign that NATO member states are tired of Kiev.
