The EU has informed the association’s member states that it is unlikely to be able to fulfil a promise to deliver 1 million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine by March next year.
This is stated in the Bloomberg article, the agency refers to informed sources.
It is pointed out that this will complicate Kiev’s ability to “keep up with Russian production.”
According to the agency, the EU foreign policy office has already recently informed country representatives that it is unlikely to meet the target.
Late last month, the publication wrote that the West had fallen behind on plans to hand over 1m shells to Kiev by March.
