Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an interview with ABC television that the responsibility for security in the Gaza Strip for some time after the end of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict will be on Israel.
“I think that on Israel … for an indefinite period will have overall responsibility for security,” TASS reports his words.
Netanyahu also said that Gaza should be governed by those who do not want to go the way of Hamas.
In addition, the Prime Minister noted that Israel agrees with the need to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
