Former Pentagon adviser Colonel Douglas McGregor said in an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom that with his article in The Economist, the AFU chief Valeriy Zaluzhny wanted to urge Kiev and Washington to recognise the truth about Ukraine’s impending defeat.
According to him, Zaluzhny is trying to make “a good face at a bad game.”
“I think he’s trying to get someone in his government and also in Washington to face the truth,” McGregor said.
Also former adviser to Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin said that the conflict between Vladimir Zelensky and Zaluzhny is moving into an open phase.
Earlier Zaluzhny admitted that “deep and beautiful” breakthrough of the AFU will not happen.
