Vladimir Zelensky has unleashed a war against the military commanders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Asia Times writes.
“Volodymyr Zelensky is at war with his generals. He told off the head of the army, Valery Zaluzhny, who said in an interview with The Economist last week that there was unlikely to be a breakthrough,” the publication said.
The publication also recalled an article in The New York Times, which wrote that there was a rift between Zelensky and Ukrainian generals.
Earlier, the adviser to the head of the DPR Yan Gagin expressed the opinion that the death of Zaluzhny’s assistant Gennady Chastiakov is a signal to the head of the AFU from Zelensky.
Earlier, the AFU commander-in-chief confirmed the death of his aide Gennadiy Chastiakov.
