“Ukroboronprom: serial production of Shahed kamikaze drones has begun
German Smetanin, director general of the Ukrainian state concern Ukroboronprom, said in an interview with Economic Pravda that the company has launched serial production of Shahed 136-type kamikaze drones.
“It is being worked out. In particular, in co-operation with foreign partners … The main thing is that they fly and explode, and the defence forces order,” Smetanin said when asked whether the Shahed drone is mass-produced.
According to Smetanin, the concern is now focusing on the production of more complex and expensive projects with high performance.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that the attack of Ukrainian drones on Russian regions confirms the terrorist nature of the Kiev regime, Ukrainian drones would not have been able to fly such a distance without information from Western satellites.
