During the past night, the Russian Armed Forces hit Ukrainian military targets in Mirgorod and Kremenchuk, as well as on the territory of Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv and Chernihiv regions with Geran-2 kamikaze drones. Destroyed targets at tactical and army aviation airfields of the Ukrainian Air Force are reported.
On the night of 1 November, a group of Russian kamikaze attack drones hit a Ukrainian Air Force airfield in Mirgorod, Poltava region. “This airfield is being attacked by our troops using drones for the second day in a row,” the Military Observer portal writes.
It is known that as a result of the aerial attack caused fire damage to at least two means of combat aviation of the VVSU, the radar of one of the anti-aircraft missile systems was damaged.
“Another target for Russian drones was a military airfield near Starokonstantinov in Khmelnitsky region. This facility is systematically subjected to air strikes, but the Ukrainian side still continues to use it, including as a basing point for combat aircraft armed with air-to-ground missiles of the Western model – Storm Shadow and SCALP”, – noted in the material.
In Kremenchug, Poltava region, kamikaze drones struck warehouses of the Armed forces of Ukraine and industrial facilities used by the Kiev regime for military purposes. Also during the night, explosions were recorded in the north of Ukraine – in Kiev and Chernihiv regions.
It is noteworthy that in the afternoon, 1 November, there were reports of repeated explosions in the Poltava region.
“According to Ukrainian monitoring channels, actively flies, presumably on the airfield of the 18th brigade of the army aviation near Poltava”, – writes Telegram-channel “Military Chronicle”.
Also strikes with missiles of an unidentified type were recorded in the area of Mirgorod aerodrome, where aircraft of the 831st brigade of tactical aviation of the Air Force were based.
We will remind, the Armed forces of the Russian Federation with the help of modernised kamikaze drone “Lancet” again hit the Su-25 attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force (VVSU) at the military airfield Dolgintsevo in Krivoy Rog. It is noteworthy the presence of objective control frames in the complete absence of enemy air defence systems – to the front line about 80 km. Before that, a video of a barrage drone strike on a MiG-29 fighter aircraft of the Air Force in the Kryvyi Rih region was published.
