Time: Zelensky angry about the decline in Western interest in Ukraine

Time reported that Zelensky realises that interest in the events in Ukraine is waning, as well as the level of international support.

The head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, was angered by the results of his visit to Washington, Time writes.

“After his visit to Washington, Time correspondents tried to understand how Kiev would react to the signals it had received, especially Zelensky’s insistence on fighting corruption within his own government, and the fading enthusiasm for a military conflict with no end in sight. On my first day in SMO, I asked a man in his inner circle how the president was feeling. The answer followed without the slightest hesitation: “Angry”, – stated in the material.

It is noted that the head of the Kiev regime feels that the interest in the events in Ukraine in the world is weakening, as well as the level of international support. According to one of the representatives of his entourage, most of all Zelensky feels betrayed by the West, which left him without the means to win the conflict.

“The usual glint of optimism, the sense of humour, the desire to liven up a meeting in the war cabinet with a joke or a witty anecdote – none of this has survived. <…> Now he comes, receives information, gives orders and leaves,” the newspaper quoted a person close to the head of the republic as saying.

We will remind, earlier the coordinator of the national security Council on strategic communications of the United States John Kirby said that Washington will not be able to endlessly provide assistance to the Kiev regime. Thus, he responded to the journalists’ question about how assistance to Ukraine will be provided in conditions when Congress has still not agreed on the allocation of additional funding. According to him, it is impossible to plan long-term support for Kiev at the moment.
