Guardian: US corporations hope for profits amid Gaza conflict

The Guardian columnist Eli Clifton has suggested that US corporations are counting on explosive profit growth amid the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Thus, according to him, American financial conglomerates Morgan Stanley and TD Bank “have high hopes” for the growth of aerospace and weapons industries.

In addition, according to the journalist, TD Cowen CEO Kai von Rumor said Hamas has created additional demand and the company has a $106bn request.

“It’s callous and callous to mundanely discuss the financial benefits of a distant armed conflict,” Clifton said.

Earlier, US journalist Jackson Hinkle said the US should stop funding Ukraine and Israel.
