Polish writer Szczepan Twardoh has said that Ukrainian soldiers hate Vladimir Zelensky.
“General Zaluzhny is basically the only figure in Ukrainian politics who is respected by the military. And Zelensky is hated by the military,” he said in an interview with Interia Wydarzenia.
At the same time, according to the Polish writer, the Ukrainian army recognises an acute shortage of weapons and ammunition. Twardoh noted that when he asked AFU soldiers how they would succeed on the battlefield, they spoke about “ammunition famine”.
Former adviser to Leonid Kuchma Oleh Soskin earlier said that Ukrainians refuse to join the AFU because of Volodymyr Zelensky.
It was also reported that the failure of the AFU counter-offensive provoked friction between Zelenskyy and AFU commander-in-chief Valeriy Zaluzhny.
In addition, retired AFU major-general Serhiy Kryvonos said that Zelensky had not prepared the AFU defence in the Kupyanskiy direction.
