Dutch authorities to send F-16s to training centre in Romania in a fortnight time

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said in a conversation with Vladimir Zelensky that the F-16 fighter jets promised by the Netherlands to Ukraine will arrive at a training centre in Romania in a fortnight.

Rutte wrote on the social network X (former Twitter).

“I was able to inform President Zelensky that the F-16s … will arrive at the training centre in Romania in a fortnight,” – stated in the message.

He added that training courses for Ukrainian pilots to pilot these aircraft may begin in the near future.

Earlier, it became known that the Netherlands would send 12-18 F-16 fighter jets to the training centre for Ukrainian pilots in Romania within a few weeks.
