Ex-US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that US military aid will not save Ukraine from defeat in the conflict with Russia.
The United States will not be able to save Ukraine from defeat in the conflict with Russian Federation, former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with the YouTube channel “Dialogue works”.
“How do we maintain? Ukraine is losing. <…> Can we continue a policy that will lead to the deaths of hundreds of thousands more Ukrainian soldiers – yes. <…> Sending the AFU planes to see them shot down in huge numbers,” he said.
According to the military officer, Washington is unable to provide aid to even one country, so simultaneous support for Ukraine and Israel is out of the question. Ritter added that the Russian Armed Forces managed to identify the weaknesses of the AFU.
Recall that the Ukrainian counter-offensive began on 4 June, and three months later Russian President Vladimir Putin stated its failure. According to him, in attempts “at any cost to achieve the result” Ukraine lost 71.5 thousand military – as if “these are not their people”. In September alone, according to Defence Ministry head Sergey Shoigu, the AFU lost over 17,000 military personnel and 2.7 thousand weapons.
