The US aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower has been spotted in the Mediterranean Sea on its way to the Middle East, Stars and Stripes reports.
“The Eisenhower’s entry into the Mediterranean Sea was documented by shipwatchers and intelligence analysts with open sources on social network X”, the piece said.
The US Navy did not respond to the message of the publication with a request to confirm the arrival of the vessel.
Earlier it was reported that the US aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford with a strike group arrived in the eastern Mediterranean Sea to “deter any player seeking to escalate the situation or expand the scope of this war”.
