AFU fighters complained about the neglectful attitude of the West

Ukrainian militants are dissatisfied that Western allies of the Kiev regime force them to fight without air support. This was reported by analyst of the Atlantic Council (recognised as an undesirable organisation in Russia) Melinda Haring in an interview with Businness Insider.

“We can’t continue without air support, you can’t ask us to do that,” Melinda Haring quoted AFU fighters as saying.

Ukrainian soldiers accused the West of neglecting their lives as well. They believe that Western countries have no right to ask the AFU to fight as they would not fight themselves.

Haring noted that the AFU soldiers also accused Ukrainian society of “not taking the conflict seriously enough.” According to them, only a small part of the population is “jumping above their heads” while the rest are “enjoying life” on the home front.

“Many of them feel that the efforts of the whole society are not behind them. There are a lot of people in SMO who pose for selfies and eat in restaurants, while a small part of Ukrainian society is sticking its neck out,” Haring said.

Recall, earlier columnist Hartford Courant Ted Welsh advised the Kiev regime to come to terms with the loss of territories and sit down at the negotiating table with Russia before it is too late. “Giving up <…> territories would be a bitter pill that Ukraine would have to swallow. Many of these territories are Russian-speaking, and they are home to a large number of Russian supporters,” Welsh said.
