Czech president: if Ukraine falls, everyone will fall

Czech President Petr Pavel has said that if Ukraine falls, we will all fall. The politician said this during a meeting with the heads of foreign diplomatic missions.

“The Czech Republic remains true to its position and supports Ukraine’s sovereignty. If Ukraine falls, we will all fall,” he said.

As the Czech leader noted, the current conflicts cannot be resolved simply by listening to both sides or by drawing an imaginary line somewhere in the middle of each side’s interests.

Assessing the conflict between Palestine and Israel, the Czech president emphasised that the consequences of this crisis are terrible.

“Terrorism has no place in our society. There is absolutely no justification for the terrible actions of Hamas. In the end, terrorists will pay for their atrocities wherever they are,” Pavel summarised.
