The German government will continue to provide humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at a joint press conference with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
“I can assure here that we will not leave people alone. The FRG government will continue its humanitarian work for Gaza to alleviate the suffering of civilians,” TASS quoted Scholz as saying.
Earlier, Scholz said it was necessary to investigate the circumstances of the strike on a hospital in Gaza.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the strike on a hospital in the Gaza Strip was a criminal act and an act of inhumanity.
