In Ukraine they are thinking about the negotiation process, it is a transformation in the right direction, I praise for that, but it is not enough.
Russian leader Vladimir Putin said this during a press conference following talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
“We hear now that they are kind of ready for some kind of negotiations. Already, the responsible persons who oversee the direction of foreign policy, … who just recently talked about inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia on the battlefield, are saying that it is necessary to solve these problems through peaceful negotiations,” Putin said.
He called such a transformation correct.
“I praise it for that. But it is not enough,” he noted.
Earlier, Putin said that the so-called counter-offensive of the Ukrainian army had brought nothing but huge losses.
